I found this post from a former Lion - Dan Orlovsky (former Detroit Lion QB) - (@danorlovsky7), who shared the simple thought: “People who copy will always be one step behind.” HUGE reminder for me of my days as a young student, cutting corners… not doing my own work and I knew at the time it wasn’t the way to go, but I eventually learned the value of doing my own work. Today - it’s about building our own authentic life. We see “copy cats” all the time and we know that’s not the way to go. This is a big reminder for me and hopefully for you, to build our lives on our own dreams and around the people that we love being with. So many people lose their way trying to be a copy of someone that’s already taken. Thanks for listening.
