What is Your Word?

Comfort

Thanks for joining us as we wrap up our What is Your Word? series this week! It has been fun sharing over the last 12 weeks. Thanks to everyone who submitted words this year.

Where do you look for comfort? What is filling your need to feel peace and protection?

Do not fear: I am with you;
do not be anxious: I am your God.
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
- Isaiah 41:10 NABRE

The Lord is good,
A strength and stronghold in the day of trouble;
He knows [He recognizes, cares for, and understands fully] those who take refuge and trust in Him.
- Nahum 1:7 AMP

Even when your path takes me through
the valley of deepest darkness,
fear will never conquer me, for you already have!
Your authority is my strength and my peace.
The comfort of your love takes away my fear.
I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.
- Psalms 23:4 TPT

What a wonderful God we have—he is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does he do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us.
- 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 TLB

The comfort God gives is not like the comfort the world gives. Will you allow His comfort to make you whole and healed?

Blessing you this week to step into the peace and joy God has for you! Amen.
