Northeast Mississippi Community College President Dr. Ricky G. Ford sits down with Marketing and Public Relations Specialist Liz Calvery to talk about the college celebrating its 75th anniversary. Calvery asks about pivotal moments in the college's history that have helped to shape Northeast as one of the top educational institutions in the nation. Ford not only discusses the college's founding, the name change in the 1980s and how the college came to be an Apple Distinguished School but also many of the athletic accomplishments that the Tiger and Lady Tiger fans have seen in the 75 years that Northeast has been in Booneville. To wrap up, Ford gives listeners the Northeast News and discusses athletics, academics, workforce, student activities, and human resources, along with many more important things happening at one of the nation’s top community colleges.
