When we have trauma, we bury the emotions. For different reasons we push them aside and don't deal with it. As we build the beliefs and programs we start to have emotions around them. It does not mean the beliefs and programs are right. But the emotions for them sit in the shadows. Why is there anger? Why am I anxious? Why am I so Sad? The reasons may be in the shadows. Light the match and become aware. Build the flame bigger and take more control as more shadow is revealed.
You can also use it as a motivator. Ya have a goal or a passion. Falling short through fear? Light the match to start the fire going.
