Infidelity has been a part of my life since I was an infant. It played a role in my parents’ marriage, many of my relationships, my marriage and even my partner’s previous marriage. As a child I knew infidelity to be wrong and as we do with many taboo subjects, I believed the best way to avoid it was to ignore it. But it wasn’t until I began to understand why infidelity happens, how it impacts a relationship, creates trust issues and impacts self esteem that I could forgive and finally start to heal.

For anyone who has felt the searing pain caused by infidelity, I know this betrayal can leave you empty and isolated. You feel branded & broken.
