If you've made peace with God through Jesus, you can have confidence that you belong to Him (1:3–2:22), that you have been Chosen (1:3–14), Empowered (1:15–23), Recreated (2:1–10), United (2:11–22), having been placed into His Body and Family (3:1–4:16). You are an Heir (3:1–13) and God is growing you up and Growing you together with others who know Him (3:14–21). You are Bound by One Lord (4:1–6), in a new family. You have something special that you bring to "the table" (4:7–16). You are Christ Incarnate (4:17–6:20), and are to be like Him in Attitude (4:17–24), in Relationships (4:25–32), and in Living (5:1–20).
