I've realized how much trauma can take away our joy and connection with others. I used to be scared of dogs because of a bad experience from my childhood. This story helps explain how we can feel safe inside while healing from trauma. We’ll explore how our bodies react to fear and what triggers these reactions. But there’s hope—by understanding how stress and relaxation work together, we can feel secure and handle life's challenges better.
To help you fight the effects of trauma, I’ll share practical tips and self-care strategies that helped me recover. We’ll talk about the healing power of music and dance, taking care of basic needs, and reducing the impact of things like alcohol and caffeine. Plus, I’ll introduce a mini workbook to help you break free from feeling stuck and alone. Join us on this journey to heal, one step at a time.
