He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, (16) and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. (17) And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’” (18) The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching. (マルコ 11:15-18 JCB) エルサレムに着くと、イエスは宮に入り、境内で商売をしていた者たちを追い出しにかかって、両替人の机や、鳩を売っていた者たちの台をひっくり返されました。 (16) また、いろいろな荷物を持って境内を通り抜けることも、お許しになりませんでした。(17) そういう人たちに、イエスは、このように言われました。「聖書には、『わたしの家は、世界中の人たちの祈りの場所と呼ばれる』（イザヤ56・7）と書いてあるではありませんか。それなのに、あなたがたはここを強盗の巣にしてしまったのです。」(18) こうしたイエスの言動を耳にした祭司長やユダヤ人の指導者たちは、どうすれば首尾よくイエスを始末できるかと、相談を始めました。人々がみなイエスの教えに夢中になっていたので、へたに動いて暴動でも起きたら、それこそ一大事と考えたからです。 (John 2:17 NIV) “His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.”” (ヨハネ 2:17 JCB) そのとき弟子たちは、「神の家を思う熱心が、わたしを焼き尽くす」（詩篇69・9）という、聖書の預言を思い出したのです。 1.Jesus wants a house full of sons and daughters イエスは息子/娘で溢れた家を求めている！ (Hebrews 2:9-13 NIV) “But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered. Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. He says, “I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters; in the assembly I will sing your praises.” And again, “I will put my trust in him.” And again he says, “Here am I, and the children God has given me.”” (ヘブル 2:9-13 JCB) しかし、しばらくの間、天使よりも低くされ、私たちのために死の苦しみを味わうことによって、栄光と誉れの冠を受けられたイエスを見ています。イエスは、神の大いなる恵みのゆえに全人類のために死なれたのです。 (10)すべてのものをお造りになった神が、ご自分を信じる者たちを栄光ある天まで引き上げるためにイエスを苦しみに会わせられたのは、まことに正しいことでした。イエスはこの苦しみをくぐり抜けて、人々を救いに導くにふさわしい方となられたのです。 (11)イエスによってきよめられた私たちは、今では、イエスと同じ父（神）を持っています。だからこそイエスは、私たちを兄弟と呼ぶことを恥とはなさらないのです。 (12)イエスは、こう言っておられます。「わたしは、父なる神のことを兄弟たちに語ろう。そして、声を合わせて神を賛美しよう。」（詩篇22・22） (13)また、「兄弟たちと共に、神を信じよう」とも、「さあ、わたしはここにいる。神が与えてくださった子どもたちといっしょに」（イザヤ8・17-18）とも述べています。 (Psalms 92:13 NIV) “planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” (詩篇 92:13 JCB) 主の農園に移植され、神ご自身が世話をしてくださるからです。 2.Jesus wants a house full of prayer (connecting with God) イエスは祈りで溢れた(神様と繋がった)家を求めている (Isa 42:6 RSV) “I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness, I have taken you by the hand and kept you; I have given you as a covenant to the people, a light to the nations (イザヤ 42:6 JCB) 主であるわたしが、わたしの正義をはっきり示すために、あなたを呼んだ。わたしはあなたを守り、あなたを支える。わたしの民と結んだ契約を確かなものとするために、わたしはあなたを彼らのもとへ送った。あなたはまた、国々の民をわたしのもとへ導く光となる。 3.Jesus wants a house full of all nations イエスは全ての国々で溢れた家を求めている (Luke 14:23 NIV) "Then the master told his servant, 'Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full. (Revelation 7:9-10NIV) “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”” (ルカ 14:23 JCB) それで、主人は言いました。『もうこうなったら、家がいっぱいになるように、街道や垣根の外へ行って、出会った者はだれでも、むりにでも連れて来なさい。 (24)初めに招待した者たちの中には、宴会の食事を味わうことのできる者は一人もいないのだ。』」
