“Mental toughness is the ability to achieve personal goals in the face of pressure from a wide range of different stressors”.
Francesa is a member-turned-trainer at Burn Boot Camp Clifton Park, NY. She is a fighter and inspiration to us all, after surviving a traumatic accident involving an electric scooter & car collision, in which witnesses didn’t think she’d survive. Francesca has been on the road to recovery since May of this year and has made incredible strides. She attended our annual Summit event this past July, just a few months after the accident, and held her own with grace and strength. Today we’re going to talk about overcoming great obstacles and how to stay positive during dark times.
Join us as we discuss:
- Francesca's journey as a Burn Boot Camp member.
- The hardest thing about being injured.
- The importance of community and a strong support system. #FrancescaStrong
- The powerful tool that is social media; and the role it played during Francesca's road to recovery.
- Mental Health obstacles and how to overcome them.
- Mental Health coping strategies after trauma.
- How to stay positive through a challenging time.
- Resources that Francesca relies on during her journey: podcasts, books, or practices that she has found to be particularly helpful.
- The advice Francesca would give to somebody who has been injured and is currently struggling.
