Poetry is a beautiful tool for self-expression and connection, and Grace Gulley is using poetry circles to help mothers process their own experiences and reframe society's perceptions of what it means to be a mother. In this episode, Grace is sharing how every mother can utilize poetry to process her own motherhood and giving us an example of a poetry circle in action.

A little about our guest:
Grace Gulley’s work is aimed at reframing how we, as a society and individuals, see Motherhood and perform mothering. She does this through poetry, writing and art therapy tools. She has graduated from UCLA’s Arts Initiative program; holds a Certificate in Motherhood Studies; is a certified Matrescence facilitator; and has fifteen cumulative years working in the arts. Outside of her poetry circles she is passionate about advocating for changes in how mothers are supported systemically and how care work is perceived.
