Casey Steinmiller is a touring Music Photographer & Content Creator.

And that, is actually how we met many years ago! It was back in my days of being a live music photographer myself when he and I met out on a DIY tour, and formed a friendship that ever since has truthfully been kept alive all by the internet! Fittingly, that's how we had this conversation as well!

In a remote conversation, Casey and I dive into his competitiveness that has actually been the driving force for him since he was young. Whether it was in track during school, or eventually translating that into the creative world upon finding his love for photography, Casey's held onto the mental drive that got him through physical races and now finds ways to use that same skill even to this day. We dive into a lot of that in this episode! We cover how he found his passion for photography, the value of creating your own opportunities and how he did it, how he started doing photos for bands and live gigs in general via putting himself out there, what kept him going when he entered the often whacky world of tour life, the value of understanding what drives you and turning that into mental fuel, acheiving creation goals and bucket list artists he's worked with, and we even talk about going to war together!....(We've played Call of Duty Warzone a lot)
