JAMES KACHNOSKIE
James Kachnoskie is currently 11 years 11 months sober from alcohol. He hosts a podcast aimed at sharing his story and stories like his, to hopefully help people find the positive impact getting into recovery can have in their life. James suffered trauma at an early age and lost his best friend at 21 due to an accidental drowning. This impactful event led to depression and alcohol addiction, culminating in 11 years of struggles and hardship for himself and his family.
James spent 11 years destroying his life. When he found himself hitting rock bottom and after a lot of internal struggles, he decided he finally needed to get sober or he might not survive. This moment changed his life forever. One year into sobriety he met his wife, a true love story, which blossomed into two children, two country moves, and many ups and downs. But sobriety has given James a life worth living and cherishing.
