Manage episode 279493120 series 2813587
Jacob is the first person to row across the Pacific Ocean solo, non-stop, and unsupported - the longest recorded row of its kind. Departing from Neah Bay, Washington to Cairns, Australia, Jacob traversed over 7000 miles in 11 months between the summers of 2018 and 2019. From a tough family life, to flying the A-10 Warthog in combat, to setting world records - Jacob is a true inspiration. He can be reached at JacobAdoram.com. From his site, you can donate to the Water Mission, which provides clean water to people in developing countries and in disaster areas. You can also donate to keep the museum running at Gig Harbor, Washington, which houses Jacob's boat - Emerson.
