We'll Keep The Light On
Manage episode 451450395 series 3550164
An intriguingly important and insightful conversation with Amy Raes who is doing incredible work raising awareness about mental health in rural communities. The statistics around mental health issues in these areas can indeed be alarming, and the lack of services only exacerbates the problem.
The Porch Light Mental Wellness Society is also doing commendable work in this field. Their efforts to build awareness and resilience in rural communities are vital. It's great to see organizations and individuals like Amy and the Porch Light Society working to break the stigma and provide much-needed support
