Community Reporters learn how to produce content with new social media tools such as blogs, podcasts and films and use everything from mobile phones to video cameras and webcams. Stories are distributed through our on-line networks and through other social network sites such as twitter and facebook etc.. meaning that those voices can be heard by anyone on-line. People's Voice Media held a festive party for the Community Reporters. It was held at People's Voice Media's new social media centre at Manchester Communications Academy. A short video made by Dewsbury Community Reporters based at the d shop in the town. The film looks at innovative initiatives to regenerate the town centre talking to "pop up" restaurant creators, the Town Team, local businesses, D Shop staff and the local people of Dewsbury.
