When you’re Sick and Tired of Feeling Sick and Tired | Routine for Combating Burnout

The beginning of August was tough, I was exhausted, like all the time. I did what I had to do, then I rotted the day away. No creativity, no extra work, nothing other than what I HAD to do. And I thought I was helping myself, I thought I was doing the right thing to get through this bout of burnout, but really what I felt was worse. I felt worse after those 2 weeks than I did in the beginning. And I was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired! I took matters into my own hands and did the things I DIDN’T WANT TO DO to feel good, and wouldn’t you know it, I felt better. I got my energy back. I’ve felt happier since, fueled with energy, and started a routine that gets reset every 24 hours because feeling good comes first. Always. Now, I can’t wait to wake up to this routine and feel good. Seeking pain gives pleasure. Seeking pleasure, gives pain. I don’t want small dopamine hits, but longterm fixes. This is what helped me, it’s all my opinion and my experience, and I hope if you’re going through a bout of burnout, this helps you in any way. Sending so much love!
