Manage episode 358004076 series 2945260
A cancer diagnosis not only affects the patient, but the patient's loved ones as well. Often a loved one becomes a caregiver and walks alongside the patient through the cancer journey. Adrienne Douglas served as the primary caregiver for her husband Zach as he battled colon cancer. She joins the podcast to talk about that journey and how the Nassif Community Cancer Center helped by providing resources and support. Nancy Yeisley, oncology social worker at the Nassif Community Cancer Center also joins the podcast to discuss the resources available to patients and caregivers.
