Franklin Taggart's resumé gives HR managers nightmares. In parallel with a frequently disrupted music career as a singer-songwriter-guitarist, he's been a sales manager, a group home counselor, a domestic violence shelter worker, a gang violence prevention coordinator, youth and music minister, conflict resolution trainer, corporate transition consultant, retail salesperson, guitar teacher, recording engineer, music producer, and freelance voiceover artist.

Since 1986 he's started 21 businesses. Since 2010 he's coached over 600 people as they've navigated their decision to take their creative dreams more seriously. He's also the producer and host of Your Own Best Company - a podcast for people who love to work alone.

In 2019, Franklin was given an Ordinary Extraordinary People Award by the Northern Colorado Community business network. In 2020, he was named SBDC Consultant of the Year for Larimer Small Business Development Center and Loveland Business Development Center. He lives in Loveland, Colorado with his rockstar wife, Chef Monica Corrado, his teenage son, Bodhi, and his teacup Yorkie, Vinnie who gets three walks a day.
