A wise, rich, playboy-turned-superhero once said (and we're paraphrasing here), sometimes the hero we need is not the one that we want. Well, for Dizzy & Ges an 18-month (and counting!) pandemic-induced break from regular church services might have been the hero we needed, but not the one we wanted. Or maybe it was not the one we wanted or the one we needed, and we still hate it and everything is awful. Or maybe Batman metaphors can really take us so far in life. In any event, we haven't been to church in a while, and we haven't been to ol' podcasting booth in a while either, but it's Advent and stars are shining over newborn babes and vaccines are flowing like eggnog and maybe, just maybe, we can get through all this together...again.
