Continuing with our new series “Counter Culture”, today Pastor Jodi talks about Trending Idolatry. When we think of bowing down to idols, we typically imagine some other culture or era worshipping statues of animals, demons, or false gods. But are there idols that we “bow down” to in our lives? Are there things we “set up” and worship, either knowingly or unknowingly? Our culture is filled with modern-day idols and it can be so easy to fall into the belief that how we think or act is “normal” but the Lord has freedom for us from anything that attempts to grab our attention away from the joy and peace offered only in Jesus.
