Does diabetes have an equal treatment for every patient? Do you know how to communicate with health providers? Sandra Arévalo is the Director of Community and Patient Education at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Working as a bilingual private consultant, researcher and spokesperson has helped her expand her horizons to continue her mission and commitment to provide health care to the most underserved and diverse families.
