The Social Web Wine Word of the Week - Meniscus

The word "meniscus" refers to the thin edge of wine at the top of a glass. It is caused by the surface tension of the wine and is important for wine tasting because it can provide clues about the wine's viscosity, alcohol content and other characteristics.
