Today's guest is Lora Brand, the new Executive Officer of the Greater Cincinnati Home Builders Association (GCHBA). In this episode, Lora shares with us how the Home Builders Association is committed to helping builders, developers and service providers thrive in the home building industry. This year marks the 60th year for the Homearama show. It will be at Martin's Gate in Newport, Ky. This is the first time the show will be located in Kentucky. There are beautiful homes and townhouses on a hill with million dollar views of Cincinnati and Newport, Ky. Come see the designs and trends that are changing, architecture, or have the builders answer your questions. Homearama is an event with food, drinks, bands and special events. Lora explains the show's rich history, the family traditions and how it's a revenue source for both the community and the Home Builders Association. Jeff and Lora discuss the passion from the committee and volunteers over the years towards the success of the show.
Jack Wieland, Jeff's father started the Wieland Builders' long history and legacy with both the HBA and Homearama. Both Jack and Jeff served on the HBA Board and the Homearama show over the years. The Homearama show is important to Wieland Builders and Jeff is thrilled to announce Wieland Builders will be returning to Homearama in 2024 at The Reserves of Stone Pillar Farm located in Goshen. It will be Wieland Builders 25th year having a home in the show.
