As disciples of Jesus, we are called to behave generously in all aspects of life, both within and outside the church's walls. Paul urges us to contribute to the needs of the saints and serve those around us, as Jesus modeled that by saying, "I came to serve and not be served." Pastor Greg Sanders provides tools and practical applications of how to honor people and remain in a generous spirit when we are inevitably faced with conflict and cursing in our lives: to highlight the good in everyone and bring that before the Lord, refusing to let anger, resentment, or bitterness set in. Our challenge is to continually mirror the example left by Jesus and remain willing to be hospitable in the midst of conflict. It ultimately reflects what we believe about God's character and heart towards us.
