What happens when you are faced with something that goes against what you believe to be true? Do you rationally examine the evidence, or do you instantly reject it because you already believe it's false? Our beliefs certainly can bring stability to our lives, but if we're not careful they can also stop us from accepting the reality that surrounds us. Jesus knows this reality and challenges us to examine our beliefs in search of the truth.
