Each year the same showbiz debate rears its ugly head: do we really NEEd the Oscars, to arbitrarily rank hollywood film based on what an academy of ol crusty dusties have to say??? and the answer is YES, purely because Noah, Eliza, and Anthony have some Big Opinions on what movies won and what movies should've won at this year's somewhat stilted ceremony.
Going from category to category, the gang analyses the meaning of Nomadland's win, the completely awkward Best Actor presentation, and whether Promising Young Woman is feminist film gold or a piece o shit. And this time, NOBODY's thoughts get passive-aggressively played offstage by some polite orchestral version of 'moon river' or somethin
