I'm excited 2020 is officially here. Maybe this will be round two of the roaring 20's? I recorded this episode with the YETI Blackout mic in my kitchen. It was spur of the moment. I set everything up about three minutes before the ball dropped. I like how it turned out. Sit back, relax, listen and enjoy! Welcome to a new decade! Now, let's take a quick minute to remember the past.

The hoverboard scene in Back to the Future 2 was pretty much the ultimate tease as to what the future held. I've wanted one every since its release in November of 1989. At the time I was 12 and the wow factor to have a hoverboard was off the charts. As a kid, you felt Mattel made this for the movie as a way to introduce a futuristic toy by way of a Hollywood blockbuster. The youth across America thought hoverboards would be available in the very near future. EVERYBODY was talking about hoverboards. That is literally all I ever wanted lol. Keep in mind this was back during a time when skateboarding was huuuuge!!! So the impact this scene had on kids at the time was massive. If you didn't own a skateboard or at the very least a Vision streetwear tshirt or a copy of Thrasher magazine your cool factor was nearly zero lol. It was the equivalent of owning a smart phone. If hoverboards were real they would have turned a skateboard into the telephone book overnight. I still want one. Never give up hope lol.
