Impacting an entire community starts with one step; a step in faith. It requires you to see beyond your own comfort and become intrigued by a different way of living. Your life's work does not mean you have to be broke or move to another country. Most often your calling is right in front of you. Jeremy Hardy joins us and educates us on how coming back to where he started launched him into the career and life you long for. While reminding us the power of listening to our peers, our family, God and the community. He now is living a life that is rich in impact, challenges and joy. As the Executive Director of Vigilant Hope based in Wilmington, NC he educates us on the organization's mission and WHY they continue to be a light and pillar in their community.

• Finding purpose and identity is essential for individuals struggling with material poverty, and the church can play a significant role in empowering and supporting them.
• Regardless of how long you have walked with Jesus, it's in the seasons away from him that God will use to strengthen you as a person. Sometimes he will use those seasons as reasons and ways to serve others
• Being called to serve God does not necessarily mean working in a church or ministry; there are numerous ways to make a difference and show love outside of the church walls.
• Stepping into your calling requires faith; little steps repeated over time
• Effective communication, over-communicating, and clearly conveying the 'why' behind your actions and decisions can eliminate confusion and build trust in relationships and organizations. Preparedness is key in effective communication and leadership.
• Leadership requires the ability to adapt and make decisions at crossroads.
• Hard moments force you to decide who you want to become as a person, leader, parent, friend
• Confidence in your natural abilities is crucial in pursuing your calling.
