Episode 28 - Forgiveness for Healing from Bitterness

The Biblical Truth

The feeling of bitterness, when possessed by a person, make him or her blind who does not see the way nor the consequences! It leads the person to destroy himself or herself and others as well. What do feeling of bitterness do to a person when they control them? First It causes physical diseases: hatred, malice, grudges and bitterness afflict humans with many diseases such as: headaches, joint pain, indigestion, high blood pressure, Diabetes & even Strokes or other diseases. Secondly it causes mental diseases, the person retreats into himself or herself 28and lives in self-pity, and in the role of the victim, withdraws from life slowly, and is often absent-minded, unable to focus on any work he or she does, and often feels resentment over life and people, and focuses on himself or herself, which causes severe psychological problems. The Word of the Lord says, in Ephesians 4:31-32 "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” and then find author of Hebrews tells us: in Hebrew 12:14-15 “14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;” Let us pray and ask the Lord to heal from all non forgiveness and bitterness. Lord Jesus, I Truly forgive everyone who has sinned against me, intentionally or unintentionally. Yes, Lord, my peace and my healing comes from forgiveness of others.
