The importance of prayer in the Christian life and Christian church cannot be exaggerated. It remains an indispensable means for walking with God and for securing divine power for uncommon exploits in life and ministry. Everything that God does has always been in response to prayer. In other words, no Christian and no church can experience God performing great and mighty miraculous wonders in their lives more than they have ever asked Him in prayer. As we focus on prayer in our study today, I pray God will ignite the fire of prayer in the heart of every one of us so that our lives can become the showcase of His great wonders for our generation to know Him as the true God.
