I grew up knowing the passage about training up a child in the way he should go and was blessed with a mom who prioritized training us in that way. Even still, that passage took on a different level of importance and challenge for me when God gave me my own children. To say I believe something to be true is one thing, but to put that value into practice day in and day out requires a completely different level of commitment!
I have invited Abbie Halberstadt to join me for this conversation because she is passionate about fighting against the acceptance of mediocrity in the high calling of motherhood. Abbie has 10 children between the ages of 2 and 16 years old and has been married for 17 years.
