The wall is done and now the Jews are soaking up the word. There aren't thousands of Bibles readily available for them to have in their own tents. No, they come together to hear an orator read the word. They read for hours together. They long for it.

God's word is our treasure, but we often neglect it for other things. Think about it... God's presence is as close as opening the word. And we have it so readily available to us today. We have it for any and all situations. Don't know what to do? Go to the word. God feels far away? Go to the word. Anxious about something? Go to the word. Need comfort? Need direction? Need joy? Need peace? Go to God's word.
