Manage episode 424629096 series 2967848
In today’s episode, I had the opportunity to talk with Nick Friedman a renowned entrepreneur, movie & TV producer, best-selling author, motivational speaker, actor, and TV personality. He is best known as the Co-Founder of the multi-million-dollar franchise 'College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving,' which he started with a college friend in a beat-up cargo van, and today has over 250 franchises worldwide and does over $300M in annual sales. Along with his business partner Omar Soliman, Nick published the best-selling book 'Effortless Entrepreneur' (Random House, 2010), and Co-Produced the award-winning Netflix documentary, 'Beware of Mr. Baker' (2012). More recently, Nick executive produced and acted in the biopic movie about Jeff Bezos, which is the first movie ever made about the wealthiest man in the universe and the founder of Amazon.
What I appreciate about our time together is learning about the purpose driven work Nick and his organization are doing, including providing free moves for Survivors of Domestic Violence where they have completed over 200 free moves since the program began. His company also donates 2 meals for every completed job to US Hunger and has donated over 4 million meals since launching the program.
