Kendra Cunov is a Relational Coach and the Founder of The Collective, a global web of women devoted to embodied awareness. Over the past 15 years, Kendra has been studying, facilitating, and practicing authentic relating, embodiment practices, and deep intimacy. She also co-founded The Embodied Relationship Training Salon with John Wineland and pioneered some of the most cutting-edge relation work on the planet. Throughout her career, Kendra has worked with men, women, couples, leaders, and organizations who know that embodied presence, truth, connection, and integrity are our access points to success.

Kendra joins me today to discuss why being “in relationship” means being in the moment and continuously reconnecting with others and the world. She shares why relationships and human connections have become an essential part of her life’s work. She describes how we can continue to be open to others who may have different perspectives and explains why we tend to talk past other people. Kendra also discusses the practice of delighting in our differences and underscores the role of boundaries in relationships.

“Delight in our differences. Allow people to change, check in, and continue to be curious about the other person and yourself.” - Kendra Cunov

  • How relationships and human connections became the pillars of Kendra’s work
  • What it means to be “in relationship”
  • Recognizing choice points to understand a different view or opinion
  • Why we never lose the opportunity to connect with others
  • Fighting about politics and how to put aside our need to be right
  • Why we tend to talk past other people and the power of listening to understand
