Many Realtors make the mistake of reacting negatively when they don't get hired by a friend or family member. In other words, throwing a hissy fit when they don't get hired.
Behavior like this is petty, childish, and shows a huge lack of professionalism. Agents, for the love of God, DO NOT throw a hissy fit. Instead, focus on understanding why you weren't hired and ask how you can improve. Reacting negatively only pushes potential clients away and damages relationships. Agents must adopt an abundance mindset, realize that not getting a particular client may be a blessing in disguise, and use the time saved to work on your business and attract even more clients.
