Manage episode 376642233 series 3463954
Welcome to the Madison County Milk House Podcast. Hosted by Samantha Field the Madison County, NY Public Information Office. This is where we talk about the big topics both North and South of Rt. 20.
On this episode we commemorate and remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Madison County Historian Matthew Urtz is working on a special project to document how the events of that day impacted us here in Madison County. Did you know members of our own first responder community went down to Ground Zero to help out? How the community came together and raised thousands of dollars for the families?
Take a listen to some first hand accounts of what happened that day and the months after. And if you have a story you would like to share with us or the historian please email pio@madisoncounty.ny.gov.
If you have a question you would like answered here on the Madison County Milk House podcast simply email us at pio@madisoncounty.ny.gov.
