Hey sis! My name is Lacey and I’m here to be your light in a darkened world. My hope is to help you to recognize who you truly are. To bring you inspiration through triumph, to lighten your load with optimism, joy, love, charity, and a healing hand.
My story is not typical. The first ten years of my life were riddled in abuse, neglect, and traumatic experiences. At 10 years old I went into foster care, separated from my 3 younger siblings, and my life completely changed. It’s been an uphill battle full of failures, heartache, unlearning and relearning, immense triumph, and a lot of growing. In 2019 I made the leap into the world of surrogacy for our amazing friends, which almost cost me my life, and created the most beautiful connection to the most amazing people.
Fast forward to today, I am now a mom of three girls, 9,7, and 6. I’ve been married to my light, for 15 years. A disciple of Christ, an entrepreneur and business owner, with a deep passion for learning new skills. I love adventuring, pushing myself outside of comfortable boundaries, and experiencing new things in the world around me. I am a certified personal trainer and legging dealer. I’m a recovering Dr Pepper and Cadbury egg addict. I am a mental health advocate and cheerleader, an aspiring author and public speaker, a lover of life and connection. I have a deep passion for reading and truly believe that knowledge is power. You can find me reading no less than four books at one time, in the Swig drive-thru daily, and in the mountains with my kids every chance I get. I believe our trials and struggles are why we are here, and we are all just walking each other home.
