(ヨハネ 3:16 ERV訳) そう！このようにして神は大きな愛をこの世に示してくれたのです。それは、神がこの世に自分の1人息子を与えたことによって。その1人息子を信じる全ての人が、死によって滅びるのではなく、永遠のいのちを得るのです！

(John 3:16 ERV) Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life.

(ピリピ 2:6-8 ERV訳) イエスは全ての面で神と同じであった。しかし、イエスは神と同等であっても、そのことを自分のために使おうとは一切思わなかった。(7) それどころか、神に値する全ての権利を放棄したのだ。そしてイエスは奴隷の地位を受け入れると、人間として生き、その生涯を歩んだのだ。 (8) イエスは自らを低くし、全身全霊で神のために尽くしたのだ。そう！彼は死を迎え、十字架で死なれた時でさえも神に従い尽くした。

(Philippians 2:6-8 ERV) He was like God in every way,but he did not think that his being equal with God was something to use for his own benefit. (7) Instead, he gave up everything, even his place with God. He accepted the role of a servant, appearing in human form. During his life as a man, (8) he humbled himself by being fully obedient to God,even when that caused his death—death on a cross.

賢者たち The Wisemen

(マタイ 2:9-11 ERV訳) 賢者たちはヘロデ王のもとを後にすると突然！ピッカーン！「あれはあの時の！」最初に見たあの星がまた姿を現したのだ！その星に導かれるままに進んで行くと、その子がいる場所を指して星が止まったではないか！ (10) 星が止まったのを見た賢者たちは、興奮して喜びの声をあげた。 (11)賢者たちが牧舎の中に入り、母マリヤと一緒にいたその子を前にした瞬間、彼らは全員ひれ伏して讃えた！そして、彼らが持ってきた宝箱を献上し、それを開いた。そこには金、乳香、没薬といった王家に捧げるための大変貴重な宝物が入っていた。

(Matthew 2:9-11 ERV) After the wise men heard the king, they left. They saw the same star they had seen in the east, and they followed it. The star went before them until it stopped above the place where the child was. (10) They were very happy and excited to see the star. (11) The wise men came to the house where the child was with his mother Mary. They bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened the boxes of gifts they had brought for him. They gave him treasures of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

羊飼いたち The Shepherds

(ルカ 2:8-17 ERV訳) その夜、ベツレヘムの町外れにある野原では、羊飼いたちが羊の面倒を見ていた。 (9) ピッカーーーン！王である神の天使が彼らの前に現れ、神の栄光が彼らの周りで輝いていた。羊飼いたちはおびえていた。 (10) 天使が彼らに言った。「恐れなくていい！神の国民みんなが喜ぶ、とっても素晴らしい最高の知らせをあなた達に持ってきた！ (11) 今日、ダビデの町であなた達の救い主がお生れになった！彼はメシヤであり、王である！ (12) その子がメシヤであると分からせてくれる目印はこの通りだ・・・その子は布きれで包まれ、家畜の餌箱の上で寝かされている。あなた達はその子を探し当てるだろう！」 (13) 1人の天使がそう言うと、ヴオ゛オ゛オ゛オ゛オ゛ーーーその天使に続いて天から天使の大軍が加わった。そして、みんな神を讃えて歌い始めた！ (14) 「♪～天の神を讃えよ。地上で彼を喜ばせる人たちに平安があるように♫～」 (15) 天使たちは羊飼いから離れて天に戻っていった。羊飼いたちはお互いに言った。「行こう！見に行こうぜ！ベツレヘムだよな！王である神が俺たちに最高な出来事を伝えてくれたんだ！」 (16) そこで彼らは走って行き、マリヤとヨセフが泊まる牧舎を見つけた。すると、餌箱の上には横になっている赤ん坊がいた。(17) 羊飼いたちは赤ん坊を見て、天使がこの子について何を話されたのかをみんなに聞かせた。

(Luke 2:8-17 ERV) That night, some shepherds were out in the fields near Bethlehem watching their sheep. (9) An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord was shining around them. The shepherds were very afraid. (10) The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid. I have some very good news for you—news that will make everyone happy. (11) Today your Savior was born in David’s town. He is the Messiah, the Lord. (12) This is how you will know him: You will find a baby wrapped in pieces of cloth and lying in a feeding box.” (13) Then a huge army of angels from heaven joined the first angel, and they were all praising God, saying, (14) “Praise God in heaven, and on earth let there be peace to the people who please him.” (15) The angels left the shepherds and went back to heaven. The shepherds said to each other, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this great event the Lord has told us about.” (16) So they went running and found Mary and Joseph. And there was the baby, lying in the feeding box. (17) When they saw the baby, they told what the angels said about this child.
