From Project BFF HQ, Terri + Manya riff on what it's like to work with your best friend, with Abigail Griebelbauer and Cecilia Edwards. We had a fabulous conversation about how they met and built their friendship and what it is like to work together and be friends. Abigail and Cecilia believe in the power of inclusion and representation, which is what underlies the founding of their business, Passage Press and their books: A is for Anthony, Not ADHD and D is for Darcy, Not Dyslexia, both part of the Empower Empathy Early series, and their newest book: Winter Break at the Beach.
Cecilia illustrates the books, Abigail writes them, and they both publish them. These fabulous friends met while studying abroad during college. Little did they know that less than a decade later, they would be publishing their third book together. They started The Passage Press, which currently publishes their children's books. However, this is only the beginning for them, and they have many ideas for the future.
