Mr. Riney also shares news regarding the June 17 groundbreaking of the Nick Gilbert Neurofibromatosis Research Institute, which will be the first brick-and-mortar institute solely dedicated to this debilitating genetic disorder. The institute and the hospital expansion are all part of a $3 billion New Center investment partnership between Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan State University, and the Detroit Pistons.
