Moon X Black Pinot Noir 2023-Trader Joe's $6.99 Dupe
This wine came out back in 2014, it was intended to be in the style of Meiomi Pinot Noir,
Meomi caused a landslide, it turned the wine world upside down.
Joe Wagner from the Caymus Family eventually sold it for $333,000,00.
It was huge, so duplicate wines came to the market and Trader Joe's was the Moon X Black.
In 2024 the Moon X Black is still around, but it is no longer an over-the-top wine.
It is subdued compared to modern Pinot Noir. It still is a tasty Red wine.
