Welcome to Episode 9 of the Basha Effect, where I explore the topic of learning and achieving through doing, rather than reading. My name is Izhar Basha and I am your host.

We are flooded with various various social media influencers telling us that we should read books and that all the answers are in books. This can sometimes be a little misleading, and more often than not, incessantly reading books is the precursor to procrastination. It also assumes that we learn effectively through reading, whereas this may not be the case.

I had fun challenging the concept of non-stop reading, and my focus on “doing” has been a key reason for my achievements.
