Women Be Lying?
Manage episode 373869264 series 3432337
Would you be willing to tell a lie in order to help someone else? Apparently, women are unlikely to make false statements on their own behalf, according to a recent published study. However, they are willing to do so for someone else if they feel that they are being criticized or pressured by others. It is common for individuals to lie in everyday conversation in order to appear more likeable and competent. There is no difference between men and women when it comes to lying, but the reasons they lie are often different. Generally, women lie most often to make the other person feel good, while men lie most often to make themselves look good." In this episode we dive into the Carlee Russell incident.
