In this week's episode, Julie George, also known as Mountain Goat on the trail, shares her journey of hiking the Appalachian Trail (AT) and how the outdoors has played a role in her relationship with Christ. She participated in the Revelation Wellness Outdoor Leadership Program called RevWild and later became a leader for them. Julie started a hiking ministry called Hiking on Purpose and received the position as the 2024 Trail Chaplain to hike the full length of the AT, sharing the love of Jesus. She emphasizes the simplicity and joy of being in nature and encourages others to be still, listen, love, and radiate joy and positivity. Julie George, also known as Mountain Goat, shares her experience on the Appalachian Trail and the lessons she learned along the way. She talks about how she got her trail name and the significance it holds for her. Julie discusses the pressure to perform, and the valley experience she went through on the trail. She shares how she overcame shame and learned to let go of expectations, allowing God to work through her story. Julie encourages others to embrace their past and trust that it does not define their future.
