John Saunders spent more than two decades as a Wall Street Senior Vice President, sales team leader, and award-winning sales executive. Followed his passion for helping others grow and founded a coaching and consulting company, Forward Advisory Solutions and published his first book, "The Optimizer, Building and Leading a Team of Serial Innovators."
He holds a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from Georgetown University. Additionally, he served as a member of Georgetown McDonough’s MBA Alumni Advisory Council, is an active angel investor, and a regular contributor to the Georgetown Executive MBA mentorship program.
As a lifelong learner, his key assertion is that change is necessary in today’s business world and we must empower those with whom we work to play a critical role in the change. Leading change comes naturally to very few but they can enabled to join the journey.
In addition to writing, mentoring, and coaching, his free time is spent with family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.
