Good morning, San Francisco! This is your weather guru coming in hot with the latest forecast that'll keep you in the know.
Buckle up for a wild ride of weather this week! We've got some serious warnings on deck - a High Surf Warning and a Coastal Flood Warning, so beach bunnies and coastal cruisers, take note!
Tonight, we're looking at a chilly overnight with a 30 percent chance of rain after 3 in the morning. Temperatures will dip to around 56 degrees Fahrenheit with a gentle south wind at about 6 miles per hour.
Monday brings mostly cloudy skies with a high near 64 degrees Fahrenheit. There's a slight 20 percent chance of rain in the afternoon, so keep that umbrella close but don't panic.
Things get interesting Monday night - we're talking serious rain action! Expect precipitation between a quarter and half an inch, with winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour. Tuesday continues the wet theme with potential thunderstorms in the morning.
The holiday forecast looks pretty sweet - Christmas Day will be mostly sunny with temperatures around 57 degrees Fahrenheit. But don't put away those rain jackets just yet! We've got more precipitation coming later in the week, with rain likely from Wednesday through the weekend.
Pro tip: Layer up, San Francisco! This week's weather is more unpredictable than a tech startup pitch meeting.
