In today's episode I sit down with Chris Gantan, a vegan ramen cook from San Francisco California. Vegan ramen is something that I get a ton of requests for on my YouTube channel and yet, I really don’t know anything about it. It seemed so challenging to me to make ramen without bones or any kind of animal products that I didn’t even know where to start. Luckily for me and for you, there are people like Chris out there who is not just a ramen cook making vegan ramen, he’s a vegan who is obsessed with making ramen. This is actually the second time we tried to record this episode, the first time was months back and I feel like this the way it was meant to be because it seems we’ve both evolved in our thinking about what making ramen is all about in parallel so this conversation was a lot more nuanced and helpful in my opinion.
