Medical records from that day say her husband — pastor JP Miller — called one of Mica’s mental health providers at 10 a.m. to say that Mica had stolen JP’s credit card, snuck out of the house while he was sleeping, gone ot Dick’s Pawn Shop that morning, purchased a gun, received a lesson on how to use it and then tried shooting herself in their front yard. And, like with most everything else in this case, JP’s account contains inconsistencies, contradictions and raises a lot of questions. Such as could Mica have done all of that in less than an hour?

Mandy and Liz talk about that and what else is contained in the medical records from that day. Also on the show, an update on the Nautilus case — WILL ALEX MURDAUGH AND CORY FLEMING BE REUNITED?!?

Plus, Alex finally settled the Mallory Beach boat crash civil liability case and an update on the Beach family’s second civil conspiracy case and their request for a judge to step down. This week, investigative journalists — Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell — broke news that a second Jane Doe case had been filed against Myrtle Beach pastor John-Paul Miller, accusing him of sexually abusing a 14-year-old student at Cathedral Hall Academy (formerly known as Grand Strand Academy), a school owned JP’s father Wayne Miller, who is named as a co-defendant in the case. In 1999, when JP Miller was 20 years old he allegedly molested the child after inviting her to play piano with him alone in the church sanctuary. The girl told a teacher about what JP allegedly did and instead of the school offering the child help, she was forced to write “I will not lie about JP Miller” 5,000 times. Mandy and Liz break down the latest allegations against the Millers and share text messages between JP, his ex-wife and Mica from 2022 or before that addresses the child sexual abuse allegations against JP. The lawsuit was filed by Jane Doe No. 1 against John-Paul Miller, Reginald Wayne Miller, and their churches, including Solid Rock Ministries. Mandy and Liz share details of the lawsuit while connecting the dots on what was happening in JP’s life at the time. Less than three years before Mica Francis’ body was found in a North Carolina swamp after her alleged suicide, there was another strange death near Solid Rock at Market Common , the Myrtle Beach church that belonged to Mica’s husband Pastor JP Miller . That’s the death of Chris Skinner , the 41-year-old quadriplegic man who was married to the woman JP was allegedly having an affair with at the time — the same woman JP has routinely been photographed with since Mica’s death in April. Chris was found in his wheelchair at the bottom of his neighborhood pool. Investigative journalists Mandy Matney and Liz Farrell take a look at Chris’ inspiring story of determination and hope — at who he was BEFORE he entered into JP’s ecosystem in 2018. They also take a deeper look into his death, the ensuing investigation and the strange coincidences and inconsistencies that exist between his and Mica’s cases.
