Forty-five years Caleb waited for His purpose and promise. He was willing to wait in order to claim what God had said He would give him and he did. But while Caleb waited, he didn’t allow himself to become weak, idle, listless or inactive. There are things that must be accomplished in our lives but God ordained that they would not be done until we’re the ages that we are right now. Satan knows the promises that God has given us but we must be physically strong enough, mentally alert enough and spiritually fit enough to receive them. What did Bildad say to Job in the 8th chapter? And though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would greatly increase.
Let’s remember the words of Caleb, he said that he was still well able to take his mountain. We’re still well able to take this season in our lives and accomplish great things! We’re still well able to obtain our great increase because our latter days are greater than the former! We need to understand that just because we’re old doesn’t mean it's over or that we’re in our end times. We who are of the Golden generation must realize that we’re in our greater times. Yes, the latter times are the greater times and that’s where we are right now!
