SAG Award Winning Actor Jared Harris from Mad Men, Chernobyl & Resident Evil joins the show to talk about his new Documentary "The Ghost of Richard Harris" which comes out May 9th on Brit Box. Dave and Jared discuss how Richard Harris was such an amazing self promoter that was ahead of his time. Dave (as usual) steps into it when he tells Jared that his father's #1 Hit "McArthur Park" is god awful. But he bounces back when asks about his fathers turn as Professor Dumbledore .on the red carpet during the premier of Harry Potter.
In Top Nerd News the big story is the Writer's Guild of America has gone on strike. The effect is almost immediate when it comes to Late Night Talk shows, but it will be a slow burn on Cable and Streaming Platforms. Dave breaks it all down with a quick histroy lesson about previous strikes from the 60's to today. What is the effect of AI, and what exactly is Gig Work. Finally, how much money are we really talking about at the end of the day?
Skungy's Pick of the Week is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Other than a gigantic 1st day download with patches, updates, changes etc it's apparently a very good game. They've listened to the players and made changes for the better. Plus, you don't have to start over from scratch when it comes to Force Skills etc.
